We perform comprehensive eye exams on patients from the age of 4 years and older . During our exam we are not only checking if your nearsighted or farsighted but also looking for systemic disease that can affect your eyes, such as: diabetes, high blood pressure, thyroid conditions, arthritis, and high cholesterol. They say the eyes are the window to your soul, well they definitely can be the window to your health! 

We have the appropriate equipment to test every type of patient. Including non verbal patients! Our testing is concentrating on reading ability, focusing ability and eye teaming ability. We thoroughly screen for Strabismus (lazy eye), Amblyopia (decreased vision in one eye), and early need for glasses (high refractive error).

Dr. Deputy's area of interest is in treating Dry Eye and Ocular Allergies.St. Johns Eye Care provides full scope Dry Eye Diagnosis / Treatment and Allergy Diagnosis / Treatment
Which may include: Tear production testing, Tear quality testing, Ocular Inflammation testing, Prescription Restasis® Therapy and Punctal Plugs.

Any patient former or current has access to our 24 hour 7 days a week on call service for any eye care emergency. Types of emergency care we provide: Acute Red or pink eye, Foreign body Removal, Contact lens complications, Corneal Ulcer treatment, Acute Allergic reactions, Eye pain, Sudden Vision Loss.

We participate with VSP® Vision Care, Medicare, Medicaid, and We accept many diffrent insurance plans. Check with our staff if you have other types of coverage.
