Gerald Deputy O.D.

Dr. Deputy is a Board Certified Optometric Physician. He has been caring for his patients vision for 22 years and has been in the Palatka and Gainesville are since 1999. He examines and treats your eyes for medical conditions - (conjunctivitis, ocular allergies, glaucoma, etc.) and vision problems that require glasses, hard or soft contacts, and other visual aids. Dr. Deputy graduated from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, in 1988. Dr. Deputy has an extensive
background in the medical field. Along with his doctorate in Optometry, he has a degree in Biology and in Medical Technology. He spent ten years working in the hospitals, private labs and the Army Reserves as a medical technologist. Dr. Deputy has been married to his wife Kim for 27 years, and they have four children. When not working he is involved in baseball with his youngest son and enjoying his 2 grandchildren. He also enjoys fishing and working on things around his home.
